Anthem – Machine Readable Files

This link leads to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
Anthem Price Comparison Tool
Under the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA), Plans must maintain a web-based price comparison tool which includes out-of-pocket costs for various PPO services. The link below will guide you to Anthem’s website. In order to utilize the Price Comparison Tool, Participants must have an account with Anthem. After creating an account, log-in and on the home page there is a link under “Connect With Care” called “Find Care & Cost.” By clicking on this link, Participants can then search for various services (such as Knee Arthroscopy Surgery or Removal of Tonsils) within their PPO network along with the associated costs.
